A successful young lawyer Linda is visiting her hometown when her twin brother Rain suddenly appears at her door. Although it has been seven years since they last met, Linda is not happy to see her brother. Rain brings with him a dark secret that has connected them since childhood. A game begins, during which it is not clear whether truth or justice prevails and who is to blame for what happened.
"Dark Matter" is a psychological thriller by writer Piret Jaaks. The author considers the work a mental sequel to her successful play "Queen of the Night", which has been staged repeatedly in both Estonia and Finland. With "Dark Matter", Jaaks continues to address topics that are important to her: violence and power relations that have woven a web into the lonely soul.
